Hey You! Yes You, My dear Sisters and Brothers, If Bill...

Hey You! Yes You, My dear Sisters and Brothers,

If Bill Clinton who fought to bring Aristide back to power with the aid of the United States Military could hug and smile with him, why can't you smile for his Presidency and hug his wonderful dream for Haiti.

I suppose if Sweet Mickey was saying weird things and acting silly everybody would be paying attention.

In the new Testament we see Saul become Paul, and is now St. Paul. There is something in there for those who meditate frequently on the white rose as 'Rose Croix'.

No! I am not as audacious as some would want to think in thinking that i am using that analogy to propel Mr. Michel Martelly where he does not belong; nor am i blasphemous, for truth is truth.

But i am saying look in your conscience.

I believe that Mr. Michel Martelly is speaking to our conscience; to the conscience of Haiti and is conducting himself proper, as a result a lot of people are not interested in listening.

Some thought he was a dancing joke to distract the population in an election, but they found out that the people's minds were interested in his message.

Lord knows that if he was talking about gay marriages; if he was talking about having a beer, a cigarette buzz for breakfast and if he was talking about cloroxing and viagra, then mostly everyone would be paying attention.

But since he is talking about family values; since he is talking charity and responsibility; since he is trying to color our conscience with awareness to loving ourselves, so that we can focus on the potency of our potential; therefore, people are concerned of the image of Haiti when he becomes President of the Nation.

What image?

What image did we have before Jan 12, 2010.

Was Mr. Michel Martelly responsible for that image?

How many of you have sucked and licked something clean and unclean when you were drunk, and did not even know who the person was or just did not care at all?

Now, you want to kick him because he acted silly on stage.

How many of you have cursed and physically abused your own family and loved ones, and felt somewhat justified for your actions?

Now, you want to wish him hell because in the past he had said this and had done that.

How many of you have pulled your pants down for reasons that only you and God knows about?

Now, you are talking about him showing his backside on stage.

How many politicians have robbed and misused the faith and trust of the people?

Now, you want to turn your back on him because he is asking you to have faith and trust in the dream of changing the way we think of ourselves and of Haiti?

How many of you have had one or two abortions, or paid for a few (i am sorry ladies, but i needed this point to wake up our conscience)?

Now, you want to talk about what he drank and smoked.

Did it bother you when Bill Clinton admitted of smoking some drugs, or that George Bush sniff some cocaine?

Did it bother when you found out that the priest you trust and have faith in had raped this girl or that boy?

Did it bother when that male figure in your family fingered you or had this girl perform oral sex on him?

Did it bother you?

Does it bother you to know that this male has a dozen children with a few women, and who has been speaking on behalf of these women?

Does it bother you to know that some priests in your churches are are gays?

Does it bother you to know that some politicians are abusing this young ladies to satisfy their physical needs?

Does it bother to know that this mother or family member is allowing her young daughter to be stretched by this person or that person just to be able to eat a meal, which should be shared freely?

Look into your conscience!

Mr. Michel Martelly is what the nature of our times has given our nation to help us look into our conscience.

He is not the savior; he is not an angel; he is not the most educated; he does not have all the Diplomas and does not speak many languages, but the song that he is singing speak to the heart and minds of the youth who has been misguided by those who are to know best how to lead them.

Mr. Michel Martelly is speaking to the to the conscience of Haiti, and that is long overdue.

Some would say that Ti manno lit up the fire, and Michel is carrying it on the international level.

I am certain that there is something to that view.

All in all, you can embrace the old same old adventure with the same calm and smooth words or you can dive in the loud dream.

Sisters and Brothers, is it better to float in a dream, or would you prefer to wake in the same old reality?

We are skeptical, because a 19 year-old by the name of Jean-Claude did not or could not listen to the cries of the youth, and may be he was misguided.

We do not trust, because a priest by the name of Jean-Bertrand did not listen to his heavenly call, but he heard the worldly noise in his soul.

We do not have faith, because our last president Rene was busy keeping the waters calm as opposed to helping us swim towards our dream.

Was he aware of our dream?

Now there is Michel and Mirlande to help guide the newbirth of our Haiti; to plant for the generations to come. Neither can solve the problems of Haiti, because the solution is us; they can only guide us by example as an elected President.

The choice is yours!

May God Bless Haiti!
