Mr. Lherisson,

I gree you with the respect youdeserve in bringing this much needed discussion to closning point for me.

We all have hear so much from our people about Jean-Claude and Jean-Bertrand, and some of the horror stories are unbelievable.

We all have read so much about 'Baby Doc' and 'Pere Titide', that at time we think of them more than we think about Haiti - our Earthly Mother.

Quickly, you and i know that wrong is wrong no matter the angle that a person is looking at it from.

You and i know that my left is still my left hand even while standing in front of you, and it is facing your right hand.

let us not be confused as i make an attempt to point something very clear to you, in the case of Aristide's interview.

But before we go there, allow me to point this out to you:

"I am not a Nationalist (Duvalierist); i am not a Lavalas (Aristideist); i am not an Inite (Prevalist), but what i am is a Haitian Christian.

I want to tell you that i, like so many if not all of my Haitian Sisters and Brother, was intrigued by the Myth of Duvalier, as much as impressed by the Social Legend of Aristide, and appreciate the Freedom of Press of Preval's Administration."

En nou pousse pi devan!

In the article you sent us we read clearly that:

Aristide served as Haiti's first democratically elected president in 1990 before he was ousted in a CIA-backed coup in September 1991. He returned to power in 1994 with the help of the Clinton administration and finished his term. He was elected again seven years later, only to be ousted in a coup in February 2004. The coup was lead by former Haitian soldiers in tandem with members of the opposition.

Aristide has repeatedly claimed that he was forced to resign at gunpoint by members of the U.S. Embassy.

U.S. officials claim that he decided to resign freely following the violent uprising.

He now lives in exile in South Africa where he waits to get his diplomatic passport renewed.

He is not allowed to travel outside South Africa.

a couple of things, according to this report:

1st- The CIA (US) got rid of him in September 1991.

Note: The United of America is being accused of getting rid of him.

2nd- President Clinton helped him to get back in 1994.

Note: THe Americans helped him to come back in 1994, you remember who was sitting behind him while he was standing behind the bullet proof podium.

But the article did not mention of the 'Embargo' that he helped to organize with Clinton and the OAS to force Cedras to leave.

Let us say it clearly.

3rd- In February 2004 he was forced to leave at gunpoint by members of the US Military Forces (so implied).

Note: That is a very serious accusation and charge aginst the United States; he is saying that he was kidnapped and forced to leave Haiti by the United of States of America.

He should take this view to the International Court.

4th- U.S. officials claim that he decided to resign freely following the violent uprising.

He now lives in exile in South Africa where he waits to get his diplomatic passport renewed.

He is not allowed to travel outside South Africa.

Note: the questions that needs to be asked are: Where are the documents that proved that he resigned - did he sign anything?

Does a 'Diplomatic Passport' of an ex-president ever expires?

Why is he not allowed to travel outside South Africa, and who has made that decision?

Pierre, can you see?

Now, in the article Rossier posed some questions, and during one of Aristide's answers it was pointed out that:

"...Those who organized the coup d'etat/kidnapping of 2004, paving the way for the invaders now accused of having caused the recent outbreak of cholera, must share the blame.

The root causes, and what facilitated the deadly spread of the disease, are structural, embedded in Haiti's historical impoverishment, marginalization, and economic exploitation.
