What is the difference between a good president and a bad president?

The difference between a successful president and an unsuccessful are among others:
Clarity of vision and direction
Emotional intelligence
Self-confidence, but not arrogance
Respect for public opinion but not too responsive to polls and party leaders
Being ready to act in an emergency situation and being comfortable in deciding
Great realists and pragmatists
Politicians who understand that politics was the art of the possible or that the road to proficient leadership was through a sensible opportunism or flexible response to changing conditions at home and abroad
Leadership requires a personal connection between the president and the people.

The president needs credibility
A president who is unable to earn the trust of their countrymen is a governor who can't govern and lead
Not one of the above quality on its own will create a great president but a combination of all of some of them do create a great president.
