The Brides Poll (with break down by department, major city, etc. which had totally different results in different cities) did have
* Manigat leading overall nation at 23.1 %
* Baker second with 17.2 %
* Martelly close third with 17.1%
* Alexis fourth with 8.1 %
* two tied at 7.8 %
* three above 1 %
Mwen Konte Sep 22 poll had
* Martelly in the lead with 34 %
* Manigat second 27 %
* Mayor Wilson third 10 %
* Baker close behind 9 %
* four in range 4 to 7 %
Lucas Truth polls, one week had
* Ceant way ahead with 50 %
* Baker and Martelly tied with 16 % each
* Manigat 8 %
* Martelly 2 %
Haiti Libre comes out every Sunday with new results.
Sep 26 was last one I saw
* Baker leading with 24.31 %
* Martelly second 14.67 %
* Manigate close behind 13.11 %
* Jeune 11.1 %
Since the different polling outfits have such totally different results, it is real important to question the scientific basis they are using:
Haitians who can vote only?
Haitians with access to phone, internet (how contacted?)
Number of people included, and do they reflect voter demographics?
Method avoid anyone voting twice.
