KIKI:

We have had intellectuals in Haiti presidency for the last 40 years or so, yet our nation is still the poorest country in the western hemisphere for so many reasons..

Jean Bertrand Aristide was charismatic and one of our best intellectual presidents of our time that speaks 8 different languages, yet he failed miserably in his mission and the country got turned into a big mess. Gerard Latortue was another one with lots of experience.

Even Rene Preval is framed by a bunch of political savvies and intellectuals and the list goes on and on....

People in Haiti are living with less than $2 a day, life expectancy is 52 years, unemployment is at 80%, corruption rate is at its highest in America, literacy rate is at 50.5%, etc....This is just to tell you intellectuality is not what will solve the problems that our nation is facing right now. We need someone with a "can-do" attitude who is practical and realistic at the same time that can get things done.
Don't get me wrong thus, I am not advocating for Michel Martelly as our next president.

I based my analysis on facts and reports.
