Monel, brother, I am aware that the marines went to Haiti and ransacked the National Bank. If there is any kind of defense in this case at time of war, marines think they can do as they are pleased.

I am sorry Haiti got entangled in this sordid affair.

I have never said that our hands are clean because no country can claim itself an Empire with clean hands.

Brother, I believe you should go over the amount of money spent in Haiti by my government.

We spent billions in your country.

Your government has gotten only 1% of the money due to their political instability.

The NGO's and some private agencies got the 99% of the money.

I believe France owes your government money because their Caribbean wealth at that time was built with free labor.

France should do the honorable thing by sending you back a portion of that money commensurate with the total period of time they were getting a free ride.

Thanks Mrs. Clinton for taking the time to remember my country on Independence Day yes, I drink soup joumou that day I also pray for my country for the people that still recovering and for those that lose loves one two years ago.I see it is an opportunity for Haiti to start over not only for the roads, houses, business etc but for my Haitian people to start or to continue to have faith in our Lord He is the "ONLY" one that going to SAVE HAITI don't get me wrong all the money in the world is great for the country if they use it for HAITI but again "ONLY"GOD CAN SAVE HAITI.

Monel, friend, William Clinton is in Haiti by his own initiatives.

The US government did not send him on any kind of mission. Mr. Clinton's Foundation is a private non-profit agency.

The Agency has nothing to do with my government.

Mrs Clinton is representing the interest of the US government as Secretary of State.

She oversees all foreign interests for US government.

Mr. Clinton did well by us, Americans.

Throughout his terms as Presidents (both times) he accumulated a 400 Billion dollar surplus that no other president has done before him; Besides Andrew Jackson paying off the National Debt with interest in full. If there were somebody who could truly help your country it would be Bill Clinton.

Too bad your people can't collaborate with him fully.The opportunity to rebuild your country is looking at you right in the face, yet, you are letting it by pass you. Bill Clinton is very well liked by the world top leaders.

But yet, you people can't get along with him, go figure.

Monel, if you tally up all the aid that my country has donated to your country, you will find out that it is a mere pittance in comparison to what we have done for you as to date.

I think bill Clinton doing good job for your government on Haiti's back. Clinton continue the same protocol on behalf of US American.

Where's the $4 milliards dollars given the countries all over the world to rebuild Haiti, 2 years after not even the rubbles Clinton not take them out of the street.

of course Hillary Clinton have to be happy to wish Haitian people happy independence day because Clinton's foundation doing good on Haiti's back.
of course Brian Latin-carabbeans America did better for us, allow me to named some country like:Cuba gave us lot of opportunities in medical and others.

Venezuela gave us free oil, electricity without named Brazil, and Dominican republic.why do you ask me don't love and cherish those country, love one who only exploit us not even a public's toilet they not doing.

Don't worry about it. The Clintons might want to continue their benevolence with your country.

They can continue doing so on an individual level.

But, they will not be able to continue the same protocol on behalf of US. America will say good by very diplomatically to people who were ungrateful to it anyway.

Follow America's Foreign policy closely and stay tune. You will find out. You will be in the hands of Latin-Caribbeans America that you love so much and cherish.

Bernadette, I heard of the tent people at Guantanamo Bay, is it as bad as they say it was?

The Cubans told them they wanted to come to America because they were searching for better opportunities.

I remember that is precisely the reason they sent Haitians back home because if you are looking for economic opportunities you are not qualified for a refuge status.they let the Cubans go through anyway and they don't send them back home under the disguise that they will be killed by Fidel Castro.

Is that true?

Tiba, I worked as a "Mediator" at Guantanamo Bay Cuba while the Haitians and the Cubans were there together.

The Cubans had better shelter, better food and a whole lot of different treatment than the Haitians did. In court, I personally witnessed, that the Cubans admitted that they were looking for "better economic opportunities", while the Haitians were scrutinized very carefully before they could get that "Refugee" status.

Three out ten would make it daily.

The Cubans were given Carte Blanche.

Since I was the translator and Mediator, I did some very interesting translation on behalf of the Haitians to get some social justice...
