Brother I also said that I am not supporting any one of the other candidates.

I do not trust them. Now because we've been victim of the greed of those Highly educated leaders we had before does not mean i should let myself be guided by one who has no clue about what he's trying to get himself into. Now if Wyclef prepares himself and we add he's caring heart and his love for the people of his country on top of it all, then maybe I can considere giving him a chance.

But with no preparation, and you think i am going to vote you to represent us around the whole on a POLITICAL level, no i don't think so. I am not saying i agreed with the previous idiots greedy bastards we've had but to me Clef is not there yet.We need someone educated, who is not greedy and who is really dedicated, with a concrete plan to represent us and work with us to help put Haiti back on its feet again.

Forgive me if unfortunately we Do not have someone like that around yet. And If Clef wants to be president he needs to start acting like one already.

It has not even been three months since they dropped him off the race and he's already out there crying, writings songs to send angry messages to people who did not support him. wow is he really serious?

Best thing to do is Go back and get yourself in shape and come back in full force.

Make them shut their mouth for good not with angry lyrics but with a concrete plan and educate yourself well enough to know how to deal with things.

The haitian people are desperate for a change and they deserve it but if you cannot live up to their expectations or even do half of what they expected from you, they will be the same ones that will kick your butt out of the country.

I don't even think Clef knows what he's getting himself into. " La politique du tier monde n'est pas une mince affaire mon frere".

Anyways brother this is my opinion.

I don't blame you for supporting him but I would not support him or any other candidates in the race right now and that's only my opinion, my choice.

The system is so corrupted only God can help us.

KV (ur statement below is wrong)

this is what you said:
"How would you feel if you send your kids to school and when you go to meet with the teacher you find out that the teacher does not even have any basic knowledge or standard to even teach your kids but just because he or she loves kids so much and been helping them out and he or she has a big heart that's why he or she got the job. Now how would you feel?"

Now this is to you and for you:
I rather have a LOW EDUCATED President who is loving, caring and will find his ways to get things done for our people to his best ability, then a bunch of HIGH EDUCATED idiots, low life, fat cats, morons, bastards who just seat there collecting high pay checks from the back of our poor people, while doing nothing absolutely nothing to improve their lives.

Now seat down and questions yourself.

Which type President out of the two would you choose.

If you chose the uncaring bastards high education, the heart that is beating on your chest is "ROTTEN and USELESS"

Sean Penn did not decide our destiny.

He just voiced his opinion.

I am not defending him but what I want us to realized is that Clef is not ready for that spot yet. And i personally don't think that it's because he is a musicians and been helping Haiti that's why we THINK we KNOW him. Absolutely NOT. Besides, I am not inside of the CEP and i don't know what kind of " Magouy" they did to cut him off the race but one thing i know for sure is that I would NOT vote him to become my President.

Absolutely not!

I don't trust none of the other candidates as well. But If Clef wants to make a difference I think he could start by Not trying to become president.

Ask yourself what kind of example is he setting for the young people of Haiti by doing such act?

The political system of Haiti is already corrupted and now he's got no Qualification to run a country and yet he wants to jump in?

How would you feel if you send your kids to school and when you go to meet with the teacher you find out that the teacher does not even have any basic knowledge or standard to even teach your kids but just because he or she loves kids so much and been helping them out and he or she has a big heart that's why he or she got the job. Now how would you feel?

Me I do not support him because I admire him as an artist and a humanitarian and i would not want him to tarnish is image (Which he already start).

When you're a soldier, before you go to war you have to prepare yourself.

I am grateful that he was born Haitian because he has help Haitian people get their pride up and walk with our heads high again but I don't want us to get caught up in all these and elect him by sympathy.

Go to school Clef and get yourself ready.

Stop making it worse for yourself.

Sean Penn doesn't owe us anything.

But just because he JUST started helping us doesn't give him the right to suddenly decide our destiny.

He overstepped his bounds.

Wyclef doesn't HAVE to become president, but he has the RIGHT to become a candidate and allow the system to work itself out. As we see, he was REJECTED by CEP. On the other hand, those that are AGAINST Wyclef's candidacy (because he's musician or whatever else) represent the cancer we have in our community: We go by what we see, not what we don't see. 38 people put up their names to be president, 19 are still in the running.

I don't see anyone arguing they don't have the right to run. But because we know Wyclef, we feel we have that right.

Put Wyclef aside, ALL the diaspora candidates (Raymond Joseph) recieved Kane!

Yet the diaspora supplies 2 thirds of Haiti's economy.

In the meantime, Haiti just spent 20 years going backwards.

This is not a coincidence.

All I can say is thanks to Wyclef, WE'RE TALKING ABOUT THESE THINGS, how the US didn't want us to have an election in the first place!

I LIKE WYCLEF TO BECOME PRESIDENT IN HAITI BECAUSE HE HAS MONEY I DON'T THINK HE WOULD STEAL WHAT BELONG TO THE HAITIAN PEOPLE THIS WHAT BEEN HAPPENED IN HAITI, EVERYBODY TAKING SOMETHING FROM US WITHOUT LIVING US NOTHING.

I THINK HE SHOULD STOP TALKING BE A MAN GET TO WORK SO HE CAN WIN NEXT TIME.

I'm in Jamaica right now and played the video for Jamaicans and they didn't understand the Jamaican part. Jafakin' they said.

Wyclef has said he has only spent 30 days in Haiti since the Earth quake.

SeanPenn had been there longer.

Wyclef= sore loser

Re: Wyclef Says: Sean Penn Didn't See Me In Haiti Because He Was Busy...

I admired Wyclef as an artist but now i am starting to change my mind on that. Yes he helped the country a lot and yes he made it sexy to be haitian, but that does not make him qualified to govern a country like Haiti.

A lot of Haitian folks don't realized that the only reason why they are supporting Wyclef is because he has money and he was a well known international figures in the music industry.

If it was not for that no one would know who is. There are a lot of Haitian artists that have been helping the country too but they never mention their name because they are not internationally known.

I think Clef needs to grow up, go to school and prepare then come back or stick to music.

ain't nothing wrong about that. You can still help your country, you don't necessarily need to be president to do that. If he wants to create jobs opportinity for the young folks of Haiti he can start by taking on the private sector and gain economical power.

Build a few hotels, restaurants and public schools with a high standard system and accessible to everyone in Haiti.

You don't need to be the president to do that sir. Now shouting at Sean Penn the way he did was immature and unprofessional.

Someone who commented previously said where was Sean Penn when Haiti needed his help a couple years ago. I honestly don't think that Sean Penn owes us anything.

He decides when he wants to help and how he wants to do it. It's not a MUST. I think Clef needs to act childish, grow and go to school and get ready.

Don't waste your time responding to anyone who did not support you besides they don't owe you that. Focus more on preparing yourself.
