Beware, Soon after he left Haiti, he is casting on a movie as we speak playing a rock'n roll singer. The movie is coming out soon He is not doing this for no reason. He is trying to get to grab the world attention for his movie. We call that for Sean Penn a pay back for all the time he spent in Haiti.

Re: Sean Penn Says Wyclef Jean Should Drop Out, What Gives Him The...Thank you Marcy Paul, and all the other voices of Reason on this debate. Often it is the man/woman on the street who grasps problems and solutions before any politician.

Re: Sean Penn Says Wyclef Jean Should Drop Out, What Gives Him The...I do not think that we should elaborate too much on Sean Penn's opinions at this time. He has a brain and his brain is able to think just like Anyone else. Let him think. That does not mean what he thinks is right. Let us drop it and thank Penn for his time and contributions to Haiti in that difficult time. Do you want to hear what I think? I have a brain! I have plenty to say. lol..... Folks everyone wants to heard. Whether it's good or bad.

Re: Sean Penn Says Wyclef Jean Should Drop Out, What Gives Him The...Thank you for everything that you said. To all of you: I always look forward to getting a email from this site just so I can know what is going on in Haiti. This email is one that I wish that I had never have got. Its so sad how people forget and take every good that one have done and make it so bad because he voice his opinion about something that is close to his heart. Sean Penn love Haiti just like Wyclef he don't have to be walking around with a Haitian flag or be from Haiti to say how he feel about something that is so importent to all of us. Maybe after we get it right this time and don't need Sean Penn so call "a bag of rice" like you said. Then we can tell people that they should not be giving their opinions. We really need to stop taking the little things to heart. Why don't you come up with questions like; what we all need to be doing right now? Cause their are so many people in Haiti that are still in need. What is going on with the donations that people have been sending? Why don't you write about that?

Re: Sean Penn Says Wyclef Jean Should Drop Out, What Gives Him The...This is absolutely absurd, There we have this guy, Sean Penn, who is helping us dealing with some very basic human needs like shelter and food. A guy who does not need any social recognition and money because he already has them. A guy who just did not send money and disassociated himself with the Haitian people. A guy who gives himself to the Haitian people. A guy who did more than the Haitian President, Mr. Preval did. A guy who has done more than Wyclef Jean did for his people. A guy who did more than ALL the Haitian celebrities put together in Haiti since the Quake, eight months (8) ago; WOOOOOOOOOOW! This is beyond absurdity! Sean Penn is not asking to participate in the up-coming election as a Haitian. He is merely voicing his opinion as a person NOT AS A CITIZEN. In any country, any one legal or not can verbalize a personal preference. Anyone has that privilege.Let alone Sean Penn who has done so much for Haiti. We don't have to accept his opinion. This is our choice as a civilized nation. No, Haiti is NOT selling her soul for a bag of rice. Mr. Penn has done a lot more than giving a bag of rice to Haiti. The least we could do is acknowledge a graceful thanks to Mr. Penn. Sean Penn's opinion is just that:His opinion. Haiti has always been graceful and tactful, ALWAYS! lET US NOT DESTROY THAT GOOD QUALITY TOO.

Re: Sean Penn Says Wyclef Jean Should Drop Out, What Gives Him The...Kelly Villate Who the hell is charles Henry Baker? A filthy mullatoe man who recently poped up from his hiden, rich, underground cave/world in Haiti What charity work or programs has he put in place to develop at least one helpless area in Haiti. None. Do not ever name this name in this forum ever again. We do not need him. He should be the first one to drop out.

Re: Sean Penn Says Wyclef Jean Should Drop Out, What Gives Him The...Please we all know what all the Mullatoes do best in Haiti. Re: Presidential Candidate Charles Henry Baker Radio Interview, Tuesday,... HE IS EXACTLY WHAT HAITI DOES NOT NEED. A rich mulatto man who has thrived and been very successful in his own beautiful, organized and well run world right in the middle of Haiti. People like him were born with an international passport in their mouth. They had the access of a great education, because they grew up under the wings of the Elite class of Haiti, who have separated themselves from the rest of the Haitian population. They live right there in the middle of the high mountains fully secured by high security guards fully loaded with guns. They have their own WELFARE AND TAXES SYSTEM to prevent bleeding on their economy. I can guarantee you that 90% of the population has never heard from him before nor do not know who he is until he ran as a candidate last time. These folks have mixed themselves WITH OTHER TWO GROUPS IN Haiti. 1) The Surians from Suria They do not consider themselves Haitian privately. The see themselves as being born in Haiti. The only places you see them in Haiti are: 1) in the hospitals (of course they are the doctors) 2) The Teleco (Of course they are the one who got the positions. 3) The department of Education (of course they are the one who make the decision WHO WILL GRADUATE FROM HIGH SCHOOL. On any Strikes (manifestation) in Haiti, you NEVER SEE NOT EVEN (ONE OF THEM). To make matter worst. They do not even let their (Black skinned maids came out to protest. Have you ever wonder why these people are thriving and have been thriving in SUCH A POOR COUNTRY, while they are living a such opulent life. Yes he is a great man alright. A great man to his own CIRCLES.

Re: Sean Penn Says Wyclef Jean Should Drop Out, What Gives Him The...I mean i agree with you 100%. I am Haitian and but i wasnt born in Haiti. But this thing is also my business. How would you be able to Control a Country when all you mostly know about the country is that they speak a dialect of french and that they are poor? Your basic reason can be to bring our country back to the way it was and to decrease the poverty. This can be done with a very great and powerful president. If you dont understand or cant give us facts and such how will you control and keep order in place. And a person who has been born their and has been to his home country would know what his country needs more than a person who is doing everything out of just compasion
