Dear Brother Jeune,
Perhaps you will remember me as the one who organized the Congress Of Haitian Ministries in Port au Prince in the late 1980s, and the National Prayer Breakfast sponsored by Madame Pascal Trouillot, in November of 1990. You served on our Advisory Board at that time. My wife, Barbara, and I were founding Directors of Caribbean Missionary Training Center in Port au Prince.
We left Haiti in the early 1990s because our sponsoring church in the US was no longer able to support our work. We were very disappointed and believed our ministry there was unfinished.
The Lord has blessed our work here in America greatly, and has recently connected us with the 24/7 Prayer Ministry, with headquarters in London, England.
Our group here in Charlott, NC now has a burden to return to Haiti and establish a 24/7 Prayer Ministry there to help unite the church and focus the power of God to change the nation.
We know there are many groups already praying for the nation, but to our knowledge there is currently no united effort, across the spectrum of Christians in Haiti, to become one in effort and focus.
Our desire is to further empower the churches and ministries thast are already doing the work of the Kingdom in Haiti, not to begin some new venture.
We plan to bring a team of 6 people to Port au Prince in April for a week, to meet people and see if such a prayer work such as this would be accepted.
I value your insight and sphere of influence.
It is important for us to open a door into the political arena as well as the Evangelical community.
Haiti is desperately in need of Godly leadership like you offer, and we want to see Christians informed to pray intelligently for the nation, that God will invade every aspect of family, church and political arenas to change the nation from inside out, to pull down strongholds that have held your people captive too long.
I am writing to ask if you would be available to attend a meeting of interested people to discuss the possibility of launching a 24/7 Prayer Tower in Haiti, and select a group of advisors who would give leadership and direction for such a move. We believe this is God, and are excited about the possibility of seeing the nation of Haiti turned 'Right Side Up' to serve the living God, and become a prosperous country again.
We are looking for a neutral place to meet, with maybe 25 - 30 interested people attending.
We would welcome your inviting other influential, Godly people who believe in the power of prayer.
We expect to invite quite a few church and missions leaders, but don't really have a pulse on the scene there now.

10 things to bring Haiti to the 21st Century
1) Agriculture.
Haiti needs 9 organizations like ODVA (Organization Development Valley Artibonite) to reorganize Agricultural System.
The canals are too deep; the soil needs to be analyzed to determine the kind of plants that will be profitable for the country and beneficial to the soil. Too many small parcels of lands are cultivated by too many small individual farmers.
We must have an administrative intervention so the small farmers can get the most production from their lands.
It is obvious that Haiti is a tropical country, but yet, we are still buying agricultural products from other countries.
Something is really wrong with this picture ladies and gentlemen.
If we can revert that, we can save millions of $$ going to someone else countries.
In return, we will create more jobs at home and build confidence in our agricultural system
2) School is a necessity in any country in order to have a well cultured society.
I believe in it so much because my mother and my father did not have the opportunity to go to school.
They always talked on the idea how they lives could have been different if they had a scholar education.
I believe education is so essential in rebuilding Haiti.
School must be available everywhere in Haiti from East to West and from North to South.
Everybody from the age of 4 to 17 should be required to attend school.
From the age of 18 to 48 shall be compensated with a gift certificate for attending school.
Amount or type of certificate is to be determined.
3) Creole Official Language: The majority of Haitians do not speak French.
Why addressing a group of people in a language that they have no idea what the speaker is talking about.
Creole must be rewritten so it has similarity of French.
For example: Nation in French can still pronounce and write as nation in Creole, Jesus en French can still pronounce write as Jesus/Jezu in Creole.
Our children learn Creole from home, by the time they go to school, they are taught in French.
No wonder why we are so behind in everything.
Take an educated man or woman from United States to China.
Give him or her a test in Chinese you see how bad he or she is going to score on the test. Speaking French becomes a profession in Haiti.
Why a banker or an insurance agent speaks French to a customer who does not speak any French, Why a Senator or Congress man or woman who speaks French very well gets to dominate the floor?
Those who cannot speak French very well keep their mouth fasten.
They may have some great ideas, but they are afraid to open their mouths.
Haitians wake up. We are digging our own graves.
What is wrong in making Creole our official language in the whole nation?
How can we build anything or get anywhere if we cannot understand each other?
Why camouflaging by hiding behind a broken French to make people believe that you are something that you are not. Even if you spoke French very well, It does not mean anything.
Last time, I was in France with the United States Navy, I met a lot of poor broke French people.
They seem to speak French very well, but they were broke.
Haitians wake up. You are sleeping.
French is not a profession.
It is just another language.
I think we should focus on Spanish and English before considering French.
French is just simply another language.
We have been on that mode for more than two hundred years, it is not working.
Let’s change course. Mr. President addresses your people and your country in Creole.
100% of Haitians speak Creole.
Less than 15% of the populations speak French and you want to address the country in French.
What is wrong with this picture people?
Wake up Haitians you are sleeping
4) Dual Citizenship is important because too many qualified Haitians are living abroad.
In order to move Haiti to a higher ground, we cannot exclude our brothers and sisters who might be qualified to help the country.
Many other countries adopt dual citizenship.
Our constitution is dynamic.
Let’s amend it
5) Military force is vital for Haiti for many reasons: a) geographical location, b) as required per our constitution, c) we took our independence by force our forefathers did not envision foreign soldiers on our soil and d) Haiti must become important allies in America.
When disaster strikes a country, the police force is not equipped enough to respond in full gear. The Military can. A member of the military job is to defend the country in time of peace, war, disaster and to defend the constitution against all enemies foreign or domestic.
In Haiti, we never had military force for the above described purpose.
We had a group of genres with weapons that were being told to choose president, senators, Congress men, they were allowed to do anything they wanted to do. It was wild - wild west. The group with the biggest weapons win this was not a Military Force.
We need an educated Military Force.
I don’t blame them. It was the matrix.
If you are in it, you must be part of the system regardless of your intent.
I am a veteran in the United States Navy: Here is what I am proposing: 50, 000.0 arm personnel to include: 8, 000 police, 10, 000 active reserves 10, 000 inactive ready reserves, 1, 000 (CIA), 1000 (FBI), 5, 000 special unit to include: Engineers, Doctors, Nurses, fire fighters, electricians, mechanics and heavy equipment operators.
The rest 15, 000 can be divided into Coast Guard, infantry units and Air Force.
Projecting cost $500, 000, 000.00 U.S. Five hundred millions.
Where do we get the money?
Property taxes: Let’s assume there are 1.5 million homes and parcel of lands in Haiti at $400.00 a year for property taxes 1.5m x $400.00 = $600, 000, 000.00 only on property taxes.
Haitians in the Diaspora 4 million x $250.00 contribution a year = $1 billion.
There are many other places we can get revenue such as: sales taxes, pay roll taxes, tolls and customs agencies.
If Haiti is safe, I promise you that over half of a million of Haitians alone will visit Haiti a year. If each one spends $1, 000.00 while on vacation that will equal to $5, 000, 000.00 Haitians wake up you are sleeping.
Yes, It’s possible!
Requirements: Must be 18 years old, must be high school graduate, must pass an aptitude and background tests.
Now, some of the countries claim that Haiti does not need a military force.
Why do they have one?
Who is going to protect our coastlines?
Who is going to protect the country’s national resources?
Why should we put our defense on someone else hands?
Haitians wake up you are sleeping
6) Building Viable Infrastructures: Roads, bridges, Mass-transit systems, Air control towers, telephone lines and cell phone towers
7) Haiti, Santo Domingo & Cuba to form partnership in business.
Cuba to join the rest of the Caribbean Nations and to reject the notion of communism so free democratic elections can take place in Cuba. If this is not done now, Cuba may become another Haiti.
Civil war may be erupted.
Fidel and Raoul think about it if you truly love Cuba, now is the time to free yourself, your people and your country!
8) Protection of the constitution: Rewrite the constitution and protect it against coup d'Etat.
Haiti needs to amend the constitution and institute death penalty against those who participate in coup d’etat and those who violate the constitution.
The branch of governments needs to be separated so each branch has their duties and responsibilities.
Sign a treaty with all the other countries in the Caribbean so that no coup d’etat, no dictator, no communism will be allowed nowhere in the Caribbean’s Nations
9) Haitians Products: Haitian musicians to play compas on international level.
We must create export for our products.
During carnival, invite dignitaries and super stars from U.S, Canada, France, England, Jamaica, China, Taiwan and any other countries or super stars who may wish to come to the palace for 3 to 5 days stay with the president and family.
Construct a highway or a subway from the Airport to the Palace, call it Diplomat Blvd. Repeat the same process every year. Ring the bell open Haiti for business.
Eliminate the notion that foreigners cannot own lands in Haiti.
I am Haitian.
I own many houses in the United States.
I cannot pick up the houses and the lands and move with them to Haiti.
I am spending money in the country.
It is good for the economy.
Come on Haitians wake up. You are sleeping
10) Public awareness: We must make television and radio accessible to every Haitian.
We must educate our people on the changes that must take place for the better of the country and as well their welfare.
Everybody shall have a social security number.
We need to create a system to provide assistance to the needy people while the country is in transition.
The best way to do that is to make sure everybody has a social security or an identification number.
You cannot ask people to leave Port au Prince or the major cities while they have nothing to depend on the country side. Here is the formula: 10 years assistant plan. Let’s assume 1 million families may need this help. We can create jobs such as cleaning streets, highways, planting trees, cleaning schools, hospitals and anything else. They can work on that capacity while they are receiving government aid.
All merchants in the streets shall register their business and report annually profit or loss so they can be assisted based on their business performance.
Hospitals and community centers shall be available in the country sides as well. Don’t keep everything in Port au prince.
Make sure people in the country sides have the same access to hospitals schools, clean water, C.A.M., Western Union, movie theaters, dry cleaning, fuels, mechanic shop, police, fire fighters, electricity, credit union or banks, telephone, television, radio, transportation vehicles and any other basics human necessities.
That will alleviate the mass human congestion in the cities.
Guys don’t even think all I just mentioned above cannot be done. The question is: DO WE HAVE THE COURAGE?

The work has begun" ansam nou kapab" We Haitians in the Diaspora stop talking do your part now. I am doing mine. I am working hard with others to bring awareness to Haitians in the Diaspora.
I have been spending my own money to do so. In addition, I will donate $1, 000.00 every year to Haiti for the next 10 years.
There are about 4 million of us in the Diaspora.
if each one of us can donate $250.00 a year to Haiti that will equal to about $1 billion dollars a year for a period of 10 years that will equal to $10 billion.

My greatest hope is that: I want to be sure before I die I know that I had done evrything I could to bring Haiti to the 21st Century

Pass on to the president
Mr. President it will be an embarrassment to our country to let other countries build our palace with their own funds.
Yes, we may need their expertise but not their money.
You need to build the website now, now and right now. This is the very first thing you need to do. This is a new era. You need to take advantage of it. This is the best way to communicate with your people.
I know you can do it
Haitian people will donate to rebuild Haiti if you can take the advantage of creating a mode to receive contributions from us in the Diaspora
The best machine you could have right now at your disposal is a website.
Look at President Bill Clinton’s Websites.
Once the website is done, you need to put a system in place to show us in the Diaspora that your government is working for the People of Haiti.
Make certain that the funds must be used will be used to advance Haiti causes.
Anyone who misuses the funds must receive the maximum penalties.
(I myself would prefer death sentence upon conviction) and all his or her assets to be confiscated by the government.
We need to create laws that will forbid people from stealing from the country.
I thing every body who works for the government must provide his her financial statement from top to bottom, including police officers.

Post Project number 1) Build our Presidential Palace, give clear and specific details to us.
Let’s assume it will cost $100, 000, 000 to build our palace.
There are about 4, 000, 000 of us in the Diaspora who can donate $50 or more. I will donate $1, 000.00. There are others who can donate more than $1, 000, 00
Here is the formula 4m X $50.00 average contributions will equal to $200, 000, 000.00
We can build the palace and at the same time build homes for those who are now living in the tents.
What is wrong with us?

We should be very thankful other countries have received us in their countries.

When some body gives you money to disrupt or give a coup d’etat in Haiti, tell him or her stick that money deep down his or her A… This barbaric behavior on your part will not advance the country’s cause or yours.
It will simply advance that person’s cause.
Stop being a puppet
We have rice, oil, beans, meat, vegetable, water, lighter.
Stove, power and all other elements we need to make food. But yet, we are still crying, we are hungry.

Mr Chavannes Jeune is a humble man of God with great passion for the people of Haiti, who has sound wisdom and vision of hope to rebuild Haiti.
I had the honor to meet Mr. Jeune nearly 6 years ago, and spent many hours with him and his wife during this past election through prayer, and while traveling the country side of Haiti.
I have high respect for him as a man of God, a visionary, one who will not compromise at any cost to see a transform Haiti, through the grace of God, Mr. Chavannes Jeune, it is written "That honor should be given where honor is due." You are the most honorable candidate among many others.

I had the honor to meet Mr. Jeune nearly 6 years ago, and spent many hours with him and his wife during this past election through prayer, and while traveling the country side of Haiti.
I have high respect for him as a man of God, a visionary, one who will not compromise at any cost to see a transform Haiti, through the grace of God, Mr. Chavannes Jeune, it is written "That honor should be given where honor is due." You are the most honorable candidate among many others.
May the Lord continue His process of perfection in your life, and order your steps.

all i knew about him, in my childhood in Haiti he's well known as man of God.
So now if he receive the call from almighty God to lead that nation.
he problally be a great leader

Mr.Chavannes Jeune is the right man for this position, believe me when i tell you. I know him really well, and not only him, but also some of his family.
Pastor Chavannes and i were working for the same institution in Haiti back in the 80s and we were working for the french government called at that time " Institut Haitiano franco haitien", and became later Institut pedagogie nationale.
At that time he was in school to become an engeneer which he is right now .
His father attended the same Bible school as my father at Cite lumiere aux Cayes.
When Chavennes graduated as an engeneer, i was promoted to his position.
He is a very good pastor, a true man of God.A man of heart, and solid at the same time .A man i know that will stend for the safety and for the right of his people.
So you cannot go wrong with a true man of God !
Being a man of God does not mean that you can run a country as the president if you don't know anything about politics.
Well, he is also a politician.
Some people said a man of God don't suppose to get involve in politics, but my Bible tells me that David was a man of God and he became King. Samuel was also a man of god and he was according to my french Bible King James version a ( Sacrificateur and he became a Juge .In order for someone to become a King or a Juge, you have to be a politician ok my beautiful people !So read your Bible christians.
Therefore to me, Pastor Chavannes is the right one for a country like Haiti.

1) Agriculture.
Haiti needs 9 organization like ODVA (Organization Development Valley Artibonite) to reorganize Agricultural System.
The canals are too deep; the soil needs to be analyzed to determine the kind of plants that will be profitable for the country and beneficial to the soil. Too many small parcels of lands are cultivated by too many small individual farmers.
An administrative intervention must take place so the small farmers can get the most production from their lands.
It is obvious that Haiti is a tropical country, but yet, we are still buying agricultural products from other countries.
Something is really wrong with this picture ladies and gentlemen.
If we can revert that, we can save millions of $$ going to some one else countries.
In return, we will create more jobs at home and build confidence, once more, in our agricultural system.
2) School is a necessity in any country in order to have a well cultured society.
I believe in it so much because my mother and my father did not have the opportunity to go to school.
They knew that they were handicap to some extent in life. My mom was a maid at some one else home. She saw it, at first hand, the differenve between her life and the kid's lives who had the opportunity to go school.
She was determined that all her kids should have a quality education.
Unfortunately, breast cancer exterminated her life when she was in her early 40s. I was well aware of her aspiration; I made sure her dream came true. All my mother’s children have a good quality education.
That is another chapter to be explained.
I believe education is so essential in rebuilding Haiti.
I propose that school must be available everywhere in Haiti from East to West and from North to South.
Every body from the age of 4 to 17 should be required to attend school.
From the age of 18 to 48 shall be compensated with a gift certificate for attending school.
Amount of certificate must be determined based on student’s performance.
3) Creole Official Language: The majority of Haitians do not speak French.
Why addressing a group of people in a language that they have no idea what the speaker is talking about.
Creole must be rewritten so it has similarity of French.
For example: Nation in French can still pronounce and write as nation in Creole, Jesus en French can still pronounce write as Jesus/Jezu in Creole.
Our children learn Creole from home, by the time they go to school, they are taught in French.
No wonder why we are so behind in everything.
Take an educated man or woman from United States to China.
Give him or her a test in Chinese you see how bad he or she is going to score on the test. Speaking French becomes a profession in Haiti.
Why a banker or an insurance agent speaks French to a customer who does not speak any French, Why a Senator or Congress man or woman who speaks French very well gets to dominate the floor?
Those who can not speak French very well keep their mouth fasten.
They may have some great ideas, but they are afraid to open their mouths.
Haitians wake up. We are digging our own graves.
What is wrong in making Creole our official language in the whole nation?
How can we build anything or get anywhere if we can not understand each other?
Why camouflaging by hiding behind a broken French to make people believe that you are something that you are not. Even if you spoke French very well, It does not mean anything.
Last time, I was in France with the United States Navy, I met a lot of poor broke French people.
They seem to speak French very well, but they were broke.
Haitians wake up. You are sleeping.
French is not a profession.
It is just another language.
I think we should focus on Spanish and English before considering French.
French is just simply another language.
We have been on that mode for more than two hundreds years, it is not working.
Let’s change course.
Mr. President addresses your people and your country in Creole.
100% of Haitians speak Creole.
Less than 15% of the populations speak French and you want to address the country in French.
What is wrong with this picture people?
Wake up Haitians you are sleeping.
4) Dual Citizenship is important because too many qualified Haitians are living abroad.
In order to move Haiti to a higher ground, we can not exclude our brothers and sisters who might be qualified to help the country.
Many other countries adopt dual citizenship.
Our constitution is dynamic.
Let’s amend it.
5) Military force is vital for Haiti for many reasons: a) geographical location, b) as required per our constitution, c) we took our independence by force our forefathers did not envision foreign soldiers on our soil and d) Haiti must become important allies in America.
When disaster strikes a country, the police force is not equipped enough to respond in full gear. The Military can. A member of the military job is to defend the country in time of peace, war, disaster and to defend the constitution against all enemies foreign or domestic.
In Haiti, we never had military force for the above described purpose.
We had a group of genres with weapons that were being told to choose president, senators, Congress men, they were allowed to do anything they wanted to do. It was wild - wild west. The group with the biggest weapons win this was not a Military Force.
We need an educated Military Force.
I don’t blame them. It was the matrix.
If you are in it, you must be part of the system regardless of your intend.
I am a veteran in the United States Navy: Here is what I am proposing: 50, 000.0 arm personnel to include: 8, 000 police, 10, 000 active reserves 10, 000 inactive ready reserves, 1, 000 (CIA), 1000 (FBI), 5, 000 special unit to include: Engineers, Doctors, Nurses, fire fighters, electricians, mechanics and heavy equipment operators.
The rest 15, 000 can be divided into Coast Guard, infantry units and Air Force.
Projecting cost $500, 000, 000.00 U.S. Five hundred millions.
Where do we get the money?
Property taxes: Let’s assume there are 1.5 million homes and parcel of lands in Haiti @ $400.00 a year for property taxes 1.5m x $400.00 = $600, 000, 000.00 only on property taxes.
Haitians in the Diaspora 4 million x $250.00 contribution a year = $1 billion.
There are many other places we can get revenue such as: sales taxes, pay roll taxes, tolls and customs agencies.
If Haiti is safe, I promise you that over half of a million of Haitians alone will visit Haiti a year. If each one spends $1, 000.00 while on vacation that will equal to $5, 000, 000.00 Haitians wake up you are sleeping.
Yes, It’s possible!
Requirements: Must be 18 years old, must be high school graduate, must pass an aptitude and background tests.
Now, some of the countries claim that Haiti does not need a military force.
Why do they have one?
Who is going to protect our coastlines?
Who is going to protect the country’s national resources?
Why should we put our defense on some one else hands?
Haitians wake up you are sleeping.
6) Building Viable Infrastructures: Roads, bridges, Mass-transit systems, Air control towers, telephone lines and cell phone towers.
7) Haiti, Santo Domingo & Cuba to form partnership in business.
Cuba to join the rest of the Caribbean Nations and to reject the notion of communism so free democratic elections can take place in Cuba. If this is not done now, Cuba may become another Haiti.
Civil war may be erupted.
Fidel and Raoul think about it if you truly love Cuba, now is the time to free yourself, your people and your country!
8) Protection of the constitution: Rewrite the constitution and protect it against coup. Haiti needs to amend the constitution and institute death penalty against those who participate in coup d’etat and those who violate the constitution.
The branch of governments needs to be separated so each branch has their duties and responsibilities.
Sign a treaty with all the other countries in the Caribbean so that no coup d’etat, no dictator, no communism will be allowed no where in the Caribbean’s nations.
9) Haitians Products: Haitian musicians to play compas on international level.
We must create export for our products.
During carnival, invite dignitaries and super stars from U.S, Canada, France, England, Jamaica, China, Taiwan and any other countries or super stars who may which to come to the palace for 5 days stay with the president and family.
Construct a highway or a subway from the Airport to the Palace, call it Diplomat Blvd. Repeat the same process every year. Ring the bell open Haiti for business.
Eliminate the notion that foreigners can not own lands in Haiti.
I am Haitian.
I own many houses in the United States.
I can not pick up the houses and the lands and move with them to Haiti.
I am spending money in the country.
It is good for the economy.
Come on Haitians wake up. You are sleeping.
10) Public awareness: We must make television and radio accessible to every Haitian.
We must educate our people on the changes that must take place for the better of the country and as well their welfare.
Every body shall have a social security number.
We need to create a system to provide assistance to the needy people while the country is in transition.
The best way to do that is to make sure every body has a social security or an identification number.
You can not ask people to leave Port au Prince or the major cities while they have nothing to depend on the country side. Here is the formula: 10 years assistant plan. Let’s assume 1 million families may need this help. We can create jobs such as cleaning streets, highways, planting trees, cleaning schools, hospitals and anything else, All merchants in the streets shall register their business and report annually profit or loss so they can be assisted based on their business performance.
Hospitals and community centers shall be available in the country side as well. Don’t keep everything in Port au prince.
Make sure people in the country have the same access to hospitals schools, clean water, C.A.M., Western Union, movie theaters, dry cleaning, fuels, mechanic shop, police, fire fighters, electricity, credit union or banks, telephone, television, radio, transportation vehicles and any other basics human necessities.
That will alleviate the mass human congestion in the cities.
Guys don’t even think all I just mentioned above can not be done. The question is: DO WE HAVE THE COURAGE?
Yes, it’s Possible.
