Regardless of the situation, life must go on. We have a constitution, we must follow it then.
LET’S HAVE AN ELECTION.
We are all aware of the tragic incident that just happened in Haiti, however, if we take a look at history whether it is biblical or not, there must be a sacrifice in order to have any change.
We had the great flood during Noah's time. Jesus died to bring salvation to the world so on and so forth.
God is giving Haiti an excellent opportunity for a new begining; we must get together and make it happen.
It does not matter who is the president, as long as we Haitians still have the same mentality of "TOUT KOUKOU KLERE POU JEW" we will always think about what the country can do for us instead of what we can do for the country.
Look at Dominican Republic next door to us. Even from an aerial view, it's a matter of night and day, they are number one in tourism in that region; what number are we?
If we do not stand for something, we will fall for anything and we will never prosper, we will always go back to point zero instead of moving forward.
Leaders, we must respect ourselves and lead by example.
The law is one and for all; you violate it you pay the price regardless of your status.
We must bring security, law and order in this beautiful country so it can regain its name of "PEARL OF THE CARIBBEAN'S" We must first respect and take pride in our country so that others can respect it and have a genuine interest in investing in it.
Let's learn from other countries that have been in situation similar to ours and see how they have pulled together and moved forward.
If the country as a whole thinks big, we will achieve big thing; otherwise, we will still remain in the same situation.
Certain laws of nature we must follow; IF NOTHING CHANGES...
NOTHING CHANGES.
We must behave differently if we expect different results.
We have a vast amount of competent Haitians in Haiti as well as in the diaspora who adore Haiti, this is the opportunity that we have all been waiting for to unite ourselves and make a change in our beloved country.
Now that we have the entire world willing to assist us in the rebuilding of Haiti, let's quit looking for our personal gain only, but let's one by one contribute and start changing our country one day at a time so we can help the international community to start calling us the most beautiful country in the western hemisphere instead of the poorest one!
