Considering that we (Haiti) have suffered a natural disaster seven months ago, and not one leader was present to assist the victims and the international aids. We were like a country where the people were helping eachother out, the people came together like we have not seen in a long time. I think an interim gov't is to be put in place, while giving a chance to all the 39 candidates to prove their skills in getting help to the people in desperate need. They can select someone anytime to help leading, but to elect someone president, the situation must be better suited with people in their home not under tents where our woman are being attacked.

Of course, the Presidential Election must proceed this year in Haiti!

Regardless the diverse point of views of the people, the Presidential Elections sould be held soon or letter.

In fact, I know that an inspired Leader is coming to help solve the political struggles in Haiti.

He will eliminate corruption, provide job opportunities, restore the country, and promote peace and justice to the whole Nation!

Now, Haaitian people should stand for a radical change.

A change that can make a differrence, not fo worst, but for better!

A change which can transform the environment, eliminate the corrupted political system, and improve the socio-economic of Haitian people!

How mny of you hae looking for this inspired
Leader?

Are you ready to meet Him?.

Please reply to this mssage.

Thanks.

That's a good question.

Haitians don't need election.

We had election before and we elected a good man. When they finally get a man that was there with then when Duvalier was around, a man who's church was burned down with all the members inside on a Sunday morning, a man that did care dearly about the country and was the main reason we got rid of Duvalier was kicked out by his own people under some non sense accusation of money corruption.

Haitian don't need election, they need education.

We'd be better off let the international community take over.
A real president is someone with political experience.

Someone who was a community leader, activist, ex mayor and on top of that a good law degree and or a political science degree, etc...

Do we have someone like that in Haiti.

Anybody in Haiti can be president.

That's our problem.

Haiti must face its constitutional obligations and act accordingly.

Putting the process of presidential elections on hold because of a state of emotional toll would suggest a national weakness that can come back later to bite us, Haitians.

Considering that life goes on, then Haiti must proceed with presidential elections in order to move forward.

Preventing the constitution to take its course because of the recent January 12 earthquake could bring disrespect to our nation.

Do you think that our Heavenly Father should prevent the occurrence of the big earthquake that is yet to come because earthquakes bring pain?

No, because God is true to His word. Haiti has to be true to the constitution and hold presidential elections despite post-earthquake tears.

In John's Revelation, the loud voice said, "It is done!", then the biggest earthquake of all times occurred.

(Revelation 16:17, 18).

Let's not prevent the process of presidential elections to take place.

Let's move forward for success and respect!

I am done with my comment.

I do think the election must go on. We need the new young generation in Haiti to step up and lead in the rebuilding of Haiti.

The status quo have not worked for years, yet we continue to see the same group of politicians in office.

I think Mr. Preval did his time and should move on to retirement.

i think that is the reason why our people of Haiti can not really do anything for themselves and also this is the kind of situation that cause other nations do not think that we can handle our problems.

I do not see any reason for election now after such a great disaster that has ravaged the people living them in potential emotional trauma.

That proves it is only "politrik we realy playing in Haiti.

No one has the gut to realize that these people need more than election now they are dying when will we have some one with a real human heart to bring Haitians out of that pit it has been for so many years?

To me, that's a shame onn the Haitian's government. Are we thinking?

do we know the importance of a human being?

I do not support election at this moment it can stay for later now it is about lives and the thousands of babies children under age that need attention.

We Haitians are not animals living being created in God's image and likeness.

Are we still fulfilling our slave masters agenda?

can some one answer me please i want to know.

This is not a simple "yes or no" question, There must be a careful analysis of the current situation.

As we all know, to be in lockstep with the constitution would require us to proceed with the elections; but do we have enough data to know wether, injecting millions of dollars that could save coutless lives and help those multitudes living in makeshift tents have a more dignified existence would be the wise thing to do?

Besides, considering the lack of moral ethic that has characterised our political class recently, do we have any guarantee that the next government will be any better?

Terefore, I beleive we need to debate this issue before spending one iota on elections
