According to a press release from the US State Department, many Haiti Ministers and high-ranking officers of the international community, including MINUSTAH, attended this meeting...

Thomas Shannon, adviser to the US State Department, notices all the progress taking place in the organization of the upcoming elections with the participation of all the political parties.

Shannon said the United States will continue to support the efforts Haiti is making to guarantee free and fair elections.
