Professor Sauveur Pierre Etienne said on Haitian radio that "Palais National" is clearly against Lamothe's candidacy naming mainly Kiko St Remy, the brother of First Lady Sophia Martelly.

Sauveur Pierre Etienne even mentioned baz galil, a kidnaping ring allegedly headed by Sonson La Familia, who is supposedly against Lamothe's candidacy as well.

In the lengnthy interview on Radio Caraibe's morning program "Libre Opinion," professor Etienne said in Haitian Creole: "Laurent Lamothe PAP kandida a la Presidence, se Sauveur Pierre Etienne ki di-w sa!"

According to the professor, many people close to president Martelly fear that they may be arrested just like Soson La Familia should Lamothe ever become president of the Republic and for that he can NEVER be a candidate...

What is at stake for now is the future of Haiti not the drug cartel mafia around the presidency.

Lamothe does not legally qualified to run for office nor all the former government officials.

Haiti is in a quackmire and the best choice will come out of the 70 candidates.

Jah love. WoW!!! I guess Lamothe knows too much. He apparently has information the gangsters don't want to come out in the open. He knows where the dirt/dead bodies are buried and he will spill the beans some day. He should write a tell all book and do a tour. And clear himself of the suspicion and try again.
