The process to ratify new Haiti Prime Minister Jean Michel Lapin is underway
Will newly nominated Haitian Prime Minister Jean Michel Lapin be ratified by Parliament or not? This process has officially begun.
Jean Michel Lapin - Haiti Prime Minister
6 days after the nomination of PM Lapin was published in the government's official newspaper Le Monitor, the Senate has asked him to submit all his documents so the ratification process move forward.
Once his documents are in the Senate, a new commission will be set up to evaluate his paperwork and a date will be announced when Prime Minister Lapin will have to present himself in front of the general assembly for his "énoncé de politique général" (
general policy statement)
