Watch the video: Haiti President Martelly Interview TV5 Monde Internationales - 2 Novembre 2014
President Martelly was almost pushed to a wall with questions about the long overdue elections in Haiti. The president remind his interviewers in France that one power he did not have was to force the Senators to vote the electoral law.
One thing President Martelly says he cannot understand is the fact that the same Senators who refuse to vote the electoral law are out in the streets protesting because there are no elections.
Come the second week of January in Haiti, parliament will be dysfunctional. Martelly says he will do his job and hold the elections finally...
