Journalist Gary Pierre Paul Charles Challenges President Jovenel Moise to Target Contraband in Haiti

On his weekday radio show Haiti Debat Tuesday, GPPC claims the Haitian government needs money to operate yet the lack of control on the Haiti borders is costing the Haitian government an ammount that represents 22 to 30 percent of the national budget.
The Dominican Republic send $1.6 billion in merchandise to Haiti, GPPC said. Haiti in return, only exports $50 million dollars worth of merchandise into the Dominican Republic.
"I want to know if President Jovenel Moise has what it takes to take up the issue of contraband in Haiti," Gary Pierre Paul Charles said.
