Haitian Senator says he was offered money to vote in favor or Prime Minister
Haitian Senator Sorel Jacinthe said Senate president offered him money to vote in favor of Prime Minister Fritz William Michel during ratification vote or to keep quiet and let the vote happen.
"Senator Cantave came to my house and offered me money," Senator Sorel Jacinthe told the news media right before the ratification session was to take place in the Senate.
Senator Sorel Jacinthe also dropped another bombshell to the media alleging that certain senators received $100,000 US each for a yes vote on the Prime Minister.
Jacinthe indexed Senators Wilfrid Gelin, Kedlaire Augustin, Jacques Sauveur Jean and Dieudone Luma Etienne.
