Haiti Elections - MONOP Endorses Jude Celestin for President

Andre Fadot says: "We made this choice based on a political calculation; as an organization close to the lower classes, we believe the projects and programs of candidate Jude Celestin are not too different from what we have always advocated."

MONOP, which their name to Mouvement national de l'Opposition Populaire to "Mouvement National Pour l'Organisation du Pays" was closer to Fanmi LAVALAS party... it came as a surprise to many when they decided to endorse Jude Celestin.
