Haiti PM Lapin Ratification - Senators of the opposition disturb and force session postponement

The ratification of appointed Haitian prime minister Jean Michel Lapin did not happen as planned after 4 senators of the opposition went about disturbing the Senate session forcing president Carl Murat Cantave to postpone it once again.

26 senators gathered for the roll call, prime minister Lapin and his cabinet members all present with the exception of Minister Jean Roudy Aly who Senator Antonio 'Don Kato' Cheramy promised to kick out of the senator if he showed his face, but the session could not go on.

Opposition senators challenged the legality of the special session but that was not enough to stop it. In the end, Senator Don Kato and his fellow opposition senators went above and beyond, disturbing the peace, until finally the senate president called for a postponement.
