Haiti Senate has NO President, One is Needed to Ratify Next Prime Minister

The Haiti Senate president seat remains empty since Jocelerme Privert left that seat to become Interim President of the Republic... The senate must have a president in order for a new prime minister to be ratified...

Privert kite Chaise Senat, li ateri sou Chaise bourré a

KREYOL: Haiti - Chanm Senat a PA GEN President Jiskaprezan... Depi lè Privert kite Senat pou ale nan Palais National kom president provisoire la, Senatè yo poko janm ka reyini pou chwazi yon nouvo president Senat/Assemble National... San president saa, chwa premier minis la pap ka fèt... Kisa ou panse de sa???

Many senators are complaining that other colleagues have been spending more time in the hallways of the National Palace than at the senate. They have yet to vote on a new senate president to replace Privert...

What do you think about that?

Well if the chief finds a way to make it to the top, every other member seems to want to follow his lead. That reminds us of the Haitian Army where every soldier dreams of a coup d'etat to take over power.

We all know how that story ended.

All of a sudden, those who were elected as legislators are finding ways to become Ministers and President.
