Core Group condemns the actions of Haitian opposition senators and calls for dialogue

The Core Group expressed its deep concerns regarding the serious political, economic, social and security crisis in Haiti. The Core Group condemns the actions of the 4 opposition senators who literally trashed the Haitian Senate and calls for dialogue.

Haitian senate floor destroyed by 4 opposition Senators, all furnitures put outsides

The Core Group calls for a broad national dialogue, without preconditions, the political sector and the private sector as well as civil society must all be involved.

This debate must include talks for a reform agenda, ensure the holding of parliamentary elections and the proper functioning of the institutions.

Note: The international community keep asking Haitians in leadership positions to sit down and talk. What they don't realize is that most of these people who think of themselves as leaders of Haiti have this "all or nothing attitude" for some reason and they have no intentions to change that attitude.
