Haiti President Martelly visits Fort de Joux prison in France where Toussaint Louverture died

Haitian President Michel Martelly visited the dungeon (cachot) in Fort de Joux, France, where Toussaint Louverture died back 7 April 1803...

The Fort de Joux or Château de Joux is a castle that was trasformed into a fort. Until this day, Fort de Joux is best known for serving as the site of imprisonment for Toussaint Louverture, who died there on 7 April 1803.

Has any previous Haitian president ever been to Fort de Joux?

Priscilla C. writes on Facebook: "Mwen kwe se premier President nou ki fe sa. Sim pa tronpe-m. Se touchant... ke Bondie ba li force ansam ak Toussaint..."

Translation: I believe this is the first Haitian President who ever did that. if I am not mistaken. It is touching ... May God give him strength together with Toussaint..."

What do you think about that?
