President Martelly says Haiti has always been at the forefront of human rights since it's inception. And for that, haiti has suffered a great deal for daring to spread freedom beyond its borders.

President Martelly believes that the late blooming of Haiti as a developing country is linked to past prejudices, embargos, etc... that Haiti had to endure for daring to fight for freedom.
