Anti-Government Manifestation in Haiti - Protesters asking Laurent Lamothe to resign

Hundreds of anti-government protesters took to the streets of capital capital Port-au-Prince to demand the departure of President Michel Martelly. At the head of the protesters was Depute Arnel Belizaire a fierce opponent of the Martelly-Lamothe administration.
"This event is made especially to demand the departure of Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe," said the member Arnel Belizaire.
The protesters were supposed to head to Petion-ville but the latest news reports suggest that it did not happen

I'm sure the Honorable deputy Belizaire along with the folks accompanying him in this march or protestation have just cause to be manifesting.
Often times it is purely out of comfort and cowardice that we chose not to take a stand for what we beleive and against that which we find to be to our detriment or intolerable.
It is of course sad that after 214 years since we as people have declared our independence from bondage that we should have to resume to these rather primitive ways to voice our concerns.
