But why would Moise Jean-Charles continue to protest even after Jovenel Moise leaves?

According to Moise Jean-Charles, the opposition is loaded with people with ulterior motives.

"I am very happy that the (opposition) meeting with Core Group turned into a real failure because it is not the voice of the people that was being heard in that meeting," the former senator said.

"We understand the game that's being played and we ask the population to stay vigilant," he said.

One journalist analyzing what Senator Moise Jean-Charles said he commented: "some people might say this guy is dumb. But he knows what he it talking about."
