Haiti wakes up at its normal speed despite announcement of street protests

The radical opposition in Haiti has announced once again street protests in the Port-au-Prince area but many tap-tap drivers came out to help the general public get to where they want to go in the early morning hours Thursday.

There are new reports of many vehicles from the Directorate of Civil Protection, an entity of the Ministry of Interior, in the streets picking up tires scattered in some parts of the capital, tires that may be used to burn in street corners during protests.

How will the day end in Haiti with an opposition who will do whatever it takes to see to it that president Jovenel Moise is out of the national palace.
