Bad news in Haiti's Government - Haitian deputé Jude Charles Faustin of Borgne / Port Margot, has just been involved in a terrible accident near St Marc Haiti Saturday, 14 June 2014 according to a flash report by Radio Vision 2000 in Haiti... The radio station interviewed Deputé Abel Descollines who confirmed that the news...

UPDATE: at 6:35 PM - 14 Jun 2014 @Pwoteksyonsivil Tweets: "Le député de L'Estère, Jules L. Anélus, et un chauffeur, qui l'accompagnait à bord du tout-terrain, figurent parmi les blessés. (Meaning Depute Jules L. Anélus and his driver are among the injured. Is that a second Depute or is there a mix-up?)"

Depute Faustin is in critical condition, Deputé Abel Descollines says. He was taken to the hospital in St Marc. They are trying to get him airlifted to another Hospital because he is bleeding from his injuries...

Député Abel Descollines told Radio Vison 2000 right before 6pm Friday, that one or more people who accompanied Depute Faustain died from this accident. He also said that Deputé Faustin is terribly injured and was bleeding.

"He really needs to be air-lifted to another hospital because St-Marc hostpital is incapable of providing the necessary care he urgently needs," Depute Decollines says.

UPDATE: Agence France-Presse reports 13 people died and 10 injured including a Haitian parliamentarian (They did not mention the parliamentarian name)

Deputé Jude Charles Faustin is a member of the majority bloc Parliamentarians for Stability and Progress (PSP) a pro-government majority group in the lower house of deputies

My sympathy goes out to him and his family whom I'm sure are undergoing much emotional pain and anguish.

It is unfortunate and sad as any one who had lived in the area of the accident can attest.

The citizens in the circumscriptions he represents as well as the nation and the rest of us are feeling for him and are wishing him a speedy and uneventful recovery.

Before that, Député Abel Descollines told Radio Vison 2000 it was Depute Jude Charles Faustin who was involved in the accident.
