The CEP is still waiting for the official results which is expected to arrive in a SEALED envelope from the Vote Tabulation Center (CTV)

Some people are saying that the electoral council already knew the results... According to Jacceus Joseph, the CEP will be as surprised to know who will the nexe president of Haiti, or which 2 candidates will advance to round 2 as you will be soon...

The way the process works, Mr. Joseph says, it that a sealed envelope leaves the tabulation center and goes to the Executive director of the CEP, this envelope is then forwarded to the Director General of the CEP which then bring is to the CEP President, Pierre Louis Opont, it is discussed in a joint CEP meeting before it is made public.
