If you are reading this, then obviously you are getting your information via Internet and chances are you were able to keep up with Haiti election news online. Answer this question for me...

What role do you think the Internet, YouTube, yours truly, and social media like Twitter and Facebook, play in the Haiti elections this year?

Do you think the Internet had any effect on the election at all?

And if so...

Do you think, from this day forward, a Haitian political candidate will be able fly under the Internet radar and ride his DONKEY all the way to the white house?

big and important role, not only for the diaspora for the population as well, otherewise we wouldn't be able to let them know what is going on and who is sid ethey should take, you know the majority of the population have not much way to get info, because of electricity issues, no tv, and must of them can not aford to buy batteries for their radio, so the social media help us who cares to keep them know smoe of what is going

It played a bigger role in the diaspora, and the majority of Haitians in Haiti do not have access to computers.

I have never been interested in Haiti's elections, or politics and this is is the first time for me. I believe the internet had a huge influence on me, and it is a step toward a brighter future for our country.

We can perhaps do not throw our old computers away, or let them collect dust in the attics and can instead send them to an organization for the youths.
