President Jovenel Moise is calling for Unity in Haiti, a country "more divided than ever before"
Haiti is more than divided the Haitian president Jovenel Moise said. On this November 18th 2019 day, President Jovenel Moise made a call for Unity.
"Unity between the poor and the rich, Unity between those above and those below (neg anwo ak neg anba) Unity between dark skin and light skins Haitains (the mulattos)
Unity between those in the cities and those in the countryside (neg andeyo ak neg lafil).
If we were United, president Jovenel said, then some of us would not be exploiting the other in this system which facilitates a very minor group to have everything while the majority is suffering knee deep in poverty and insecurity.
This is not what our ancestors wanted, president Jovenel Moise added.
