Plans for 14 May 2014 in front of Haiti National Palace, the Good, the Bad and the Ugly...
This Wednesday, May 14 2014, supporters of Haiti president Michel Martelly are invited in front of the grounds of the national palace to celebrate Martelly's three-year aniversary in office... At the same time, MOPOD, FOPARK and the opposition are planning to circle the palace 7 times screaming "Jericho, Miray la Kraze!!!" How will this story end?
QUESTION: Should Martelly NOT celebrate his 3 years in office for fear the the opposition will ruin the momment OR should the opposition give the guy a break and let him celebrate his 3 years in office?
For a while now, Haiti opposition has used each and every important date in Haiti to protest. They are planing a manifestation for May 14, Martelly's aniversary date, and May 18 Haitian flag day, and on both these days, their ultimate objective is to step foot in front of the National Palace.
How do you think the story end this May 14 2014 in front of Palais National in Haiti?
