G-9 Jimmy Cherisier halts delivery of gasoline products across Haiti and demands resignation of prime minister Ariel Henry
Call him a gang leader, call him whatever you want, Jimmy Cherisier, alias Barbecue, is in power, the people in Haiti are in need of gasoline and Diese. Barbecue says no delivery until the Prime Minister resigns.
"I know that this is a big problem for the Haitian people," mr. Barbecue said on a radio interview Monday, "but is a necessary step."
"The Prime Minister must resign to answer questions regarding his alleged implications in the assassination of President jovenel Moise," he continued.
There is no gasoline and no diesel products anywhere in the country. Radio stations are shutting down, hospitals are crying for help, the roads are empty because cars cannot fill up. yet the G-9 gang has decided to put an armed blockade around the terminal where the trucks are supposed to pick up these products and deliver to gas pumps across the country.
