Some people will NOT let misery end in Haiti because they live off misery, ex president Martelly said

Former Haitian president Michel Martelly said: "Some people will NOT let misery end in Haiti because they live off misery."

"If misery were to end in Haiti, their lives would be over, they themselves will be miserable."

"So now it is up to us to chose between those who live of the misery of others, because some foreigners come here, as an example, they build orphanages. We don't have any problem with that but why don't we seek foreign tourists instead who come here to spend their money and with the money they spend we can make the tourism industry blossom for example."

I am not doubting mr Martelly pronouncement ; however, he has not given us any any logic explanations as to why some people live copiously at the expense of the poor.
I am certain that the foreigners who come to Haiti and operate orphanages cannot make a profit unless they are engaged in human trafficking.

Mr Martelly advancement is very much
