Impeachment hearing of President Jovenel Moise continues Monday 12 Aug

The impeachment hearing was postponed by depute president Gary Bodeau who feared for his safety after parliament employees broke out in protest complaining they haven't been paid for months.

There were some gunshots fired in the grounds of parliament according to news reports, to the point where a special unit of the Haitian National Police was asked to enter the grounds of Parliament to restore order.
