Haiti President Jovenel Moise Sister Under Arrest
Total unpaid invoice: USD $25,000
President Jovenel Moise, contacted, replied that he was not aware of the case.
As for the first lady, Martine, she explained that it was the rental house that had legitimately claimed the recovery of its property for non-payment.
In view of her sister-in-law's refusal to comply, a warrant for the seizure of the car in question, in any hands whatsoever, was issued. The company demands, in addition, the full payment of the 25,000 US dollars.
Arrested by Commissioner Gospel and then released, after negotiations, by Mr. Reynold Georges, Mrs. Eunide Moise was dropped off by the latter at the El Rancho hotel.
