Haiti - Moise Jean Charles : Parliament cannot get rid of President Privert

"Parliament cannot overthrow Privert," says candidate for president and former senator Moise Jean Charles. "everything you hear coming from inside the parliament, it's BRI SAPAT (all talk no action)."

KREYOL: Haiti - Moise Jean Charles di: Palman an PA KA jete Privert, Tout sa palman ap fè la a se BRI SAPAT... Kisa ou panse de sa???

There are only two political forces in Haiti that have the capacity to overthrow President Privert, Moise Jean Charles said:

One of them, Fanmi LAVALAS, is in power with Privert; the other, Pitit Desalin, is within inches of grabbing power in the upcoming elections, therefore it is not in their best interest for Privert to leave.

"I am a former senator," Moise said, "I know how parliament works. Privert has a majority inside the senate, the others are trying to make deals." Privert is going nowhere, it seems.

What do you think about that?

Moise Jean Charles is right that this Parliament Malachong, full of Mal elu, and interested only in money and power does not have what it takes to kick Privert out of power.

He is however wrong in assuming that PHTK and its allies do not constitute a force that can shift the balance of power in the country.

We always make the same mistakes.
