FLASH: Haiti - The 3 branches of Government meet to discuss the recent gas price hike riots

A scheduled emergency meeting between the 3 powers of the State of Haiti (let 3 Pouvoirs de l'Etat) is happening this Monday evening at the National Palace to discuss the recent and unfortunate events that took place after a government decision to raise gas prices.

Haitian President Jovenel Moise (the Executive branc) is meeting with Senate president Joseph Lambert and Chambre des Deputes president Gary Bodeau (the Legislative branch) and Jules Cantave, president of the Conseil supérieur du Pouvoir judiciaire (CSPJ) -- the Judicial Branch.

Earlier in the day, Senator Joseph Lambert posted on his Twitter page:

As I asked President Jovenel Moise, the three Powers of the State are meeting this afternoon to find a way out of this crisis situation that my country has been experiencing for three days.

Depute Gary Bodeau also twitted:

I thank the Head of State Jovenel Moise who understood the meaning of my approach by agreeing to invite the three (3) powers of the State tonight at the National Palace to analyze the situation to make the appropriate arrangements

President Jovenel Moise twitted:

I met, at the national palace, the Presidents of the Senate, the Chamber of Deputies, the Superior Council of the Judiciary in order to discuss the recent violence that ransacked the capital and to adopt appropriate measures in order to straighten the bar.

What will come out of that meeting?
