Nancy Pelosi spoke to Haitian-Americans in South Florida round-table Thursday

U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi stopped by in South Florida to speak and listen to the problems Haiti is currently facing from a group of Haitian activists and professionals.

Nancy Pelosi was accompanied by U.S. Rep. Frederica Wilson, D-Miami for a round-table discussion that was held at the Father Gerard Jean-Juste Community Center in North Miami-Dade.

The activists who were present gave House speaker Nancy Pelosi a message Washington: The United States shoule stop sticking their nose in Haiti's internal affairs; second, Haiti President Jovenel Moise needs to go.

Among prominent Haitians presenting were Gepsie Metellus, the executive director of Sant La Haitian Neighborhood Center, activist Carline Paul who was very outspoken, Marleine Bastien, head of the Family Action Network Movement (FANM).
