Haiti President's Son barely escapes being shot and killed in Port-au-Prince, radio reports

On Tuesday October 23 2018, Radio Vision 2000 reported that Armed individuals has just fired shots at the motorcade of Joverlin Moise, eldest son of Haitian president Jovenel Moise. The bullet missed his car and hit the back up vehicle right behind him,

Later that day, both the Haitian National Police and the National Palace have denied that such an incident ever took place but it was all over Haitian radio that day that it supposedly happened.

There were mixed reports as to exactly what happened but here is what we heard so far...

The incident happened in Nazon at Kafou Samida.

According to news reports, the armed attack was carried out by armed individuals riding on motorbikes.

LoopHaiti.com reports four (4) individuals on motorbikes fired at the vehicle on which Joverlin Moise, the son of the Head of State, was on board.

Radio SCOOP FM said it was not an attack directly at the son of the president, it was just bandits shooting with cops where the first son of the republic would've fell victim.

The country need to get rid of the motorbikes which cause accidents and mischief.
