Haiti Elections Update -- There will be No elections in April, May, nor June, there will be NO elections until October, Senator Steven Benoit said on a Radio interview... BUT wais... There is a shocking reason why the Haitian elections may be postponed for 6 months...

Back to ENGLISH... Here is the reason:

Journalist Gary Pierre Paul Charles said on Radio SCOOP FM: High ranking government officials (a Ministre for example) must be in power for at least 6 months in order to receive a pension... You get it???

So the idea that elections will be held in 90 days, or 120 days, when so many new officials have not yet worked long enough in the transition to earn their high value pension, you can get that out of you mind...
