Haiti - Senator Bien-Aime still believes there will be NO Elections

There will be NO Elections in Haiti, says Senator Jean Baptiste Bien-Aime... The opposition senator senator still believes that all the efforts to hold elections in Haiti is a big waste of time... a big SHOW will lead to nowhere...

KREYOL: Haiti - Pap genyen Election... Se sa Senatè Jean Baptiste Bien-Amie deklare... Senatè opposition an di: "Tout sa ki ap fet la se MOUVMAN, mwen rete pessimist ke pap gen election."

"There is a well prepared plan by many embassies in Haiti to insure there is NO Elections," Senator Bien Aime said, "The electoral council does not have enough money to hole elections and MINUSTAH is unwilling to assist the government in logistics to move elections materials around the country."

With all the elections movement going on, I am still pessimist, there will be no elections, Senator Bien-Aime said...

One main reason, the senator said, is that out of the 70+ million dollars the electoral council need to hold elections they only have at their disposal $30+ million and no one has promised them the remaining amount.

Second: The UN Stabilization MINUSTAH was the one involved in moving elections materials around in their vehicles and helicopters. "They have decided NOT to do it this time," Senator Bien Aime said.

The senator is almost certain there will not be any logistical means for elections to be held in Haiti this year.
