RUmor spread over the weekend that Haitian Prime Minister Jack Guy Lafontant resigned over the weekend.

People spreading these rumors went as far as saying that the prime minister was forced to resign under the pressure of the International community.
According news reports, this is definitely a rumor but it came from somewhere within the government.
