HAITI: Preval Got The Election Report, Tires Are Burning, GET PAID To Protest!

President Rene Preval has only just received the elections report from the OAS when violence erupted in Haiti... Yes... Political violence... Sponsored violence...

There has been reports of gunfires and confrontation with police...

But read this...

After reading a news article published by AFP, it is beginning to look like there is a GET PAID TO PROTEST promotion going on in Haiti right now...

Seriously... AFP Reports...

One man, Carlos Jean Charles, said he'd been approached by gang leaders late Thursday and offered money if he and his associates rioted -- an arrangement said to be common in Haiti.

"There's 200 of us and we fight. We fight for money," said Charles, who said he lives in the violent slum of Cite Soleil, a frequent recruiting ground for Haitian mobs.

"But they only offered 2,000 Haitian dollars (253 US dollars) and that wasn't enough. That's beer money. We need real money."

QUESTION:

Who do you think is creating this NEW state of chaos in Haiti right now?

Who will benefit from this? Who will loose?

Mr.Altieri, We can first stop tearing each other down--our current gov't included.

I believe the devastating earthquake in Haiti last year was a call for us as a nation to turn a new page.
The evil that was slavery left a legacy of "koupe tet brile caille" in Haiti.

Dear Sister Sylvia,

I appreciate your intuitive comment:

"Most of you on this forum are a bunch of simple minded nit wits. Do you really believe Preval is the "enemy" and the reason for Haiti's problems.

Let Preval be Preval, let Celestin be Celestin, let the OAS be the OAS, let the MINUSTAH be MINUSTAH and let EVIL be EVIL.

And please try not to ever give the benefit of the daoubt to that which you think is EVIL; to that which you think is bad - may be, but EVIL never.

Check this out! A bad brother or sister can swicth to goodness.

Dada,

I greet you in peace, and thank for your calm and level headed comments.

You are a strong reminder of what we are attempting to do here - on this screen; an endeavor that can not simply be measured by the thoughts that is displayed here.

Ronald & Tibia,

I have been back and forth on the both of your opinions.

Personally I think both of you have strong points and a lot to say but my question is "Why is it like this?

Tiba,

Your question politely begs an answer (Could it be possible that he (Preval) is cooking another scam to create more violence?), so let me try:

"One thing we know is that noone can squeeze orange juice from a rock. In that frame of mine, we will say that in other for there to be a scam, the ingredients to cook up such a scam must be in existence with the variables capable to give the scam existence and become reality"

Ronald,

Please don't think that I am criticising you or beating you over the head in any way shape and form. I do agree with you totally about having transparency in the Haitian government.

For far too long, the Haitian government has been operating in total secrecy behind close doors away from the people's knowledge and awareness.
