Haiti President Martelly meets with the Senators to discuss Haiti Election Crisis
There is another "El Rancho" happening in Haiti except this time it is between the Executive Branch and the Legislative Branch... President Martelly is meeting the Senators this Tuesday, 3 June 2014, at Best Western to discuss Haiti Election 2014 and the Electoral Council (CEP)...
According to Haiti News reports, there are 15 senators attending this meeting; President Martelly, Prime Minister Laurent Lamonthe, representatives of the Executive branch advisers of the President are all at this meeting.
So far, although a new electoral council in Haiti and an election date is announces, there is still a hold up in the electoral process. The purpose of this meeting between the government and the senators is find a solution for that hold up.
What will be the outcome of this meeting? Let's wait and see.
