Haiti President Martelly Installs Advisory Committee to Assist in Final Decision of the Political Consultations

Haitian Michel Martelly proceeded, Monday 01 December, to the installation of the members forming the advisory committee to assist him in making the final decision as to which direction to take after political consultations carried out from 22 September to 24 November 2014...

This even took place at the National Palace in the presence of Prime Minister Laurent Lamothe, the President of the Court of Cassation, Anel Alexis Joseph, Vice President of the Senate, Andris Riche and other members of the Government...

This commission consists of the following members:

  2. Patrick Aris
  3. Evans Paul
  4. Chavannes Jeune
  5. Paul Loulou Chéry
  6. Odette Roy Fombrun
  7. Gabriel Fortuné
  8. Réginald Boulos
  9. Rony Mondestin
  10. Charles Suffra
  11. Ogé Beauvoir

This commission must submit its report within a period of eight (8) days.

Resignation says...

What a waste of resources and most importantly TIME in a so crucial and decisive moment.

Consultation is not the remedy, however, EL Rancho accord had clearly demonstrated the unwillingness of this current administration to engage into a compromise to resolve the political crisis created by the executive in quest to kill time with a terrible miscalculation thinking propaganda will help them through.Hope this time the executive will wake up and find out how damaging the Prime minister Lamothe can be for their political future, there is no other alternative left Laurent Lamothe should resign and won't allow to leave Haiti until investigators will determine any wrongdoing as far as corruption is
