Haiti President Martelly in Jamaica for 3 days

Haiti President Michel Martelly left Haiti Wednesday for Kingston for a three-day official visit to Jamaica, a trip aiming to 'strengthen cooperation between the Republic of Haiti and the Caribbean nation,' according to a press release from Haiti's white house...

Caribbean Journal reports..

The visit will feature talks with Prime Minister Portia Simpson Miller, members of the Cabinet and private sector groups, among others.

Among the issues to be discussed include security, trade and investment, tourism, sport, culture and CARICOM aid to Haiti, according to Jamaican Information Minister Sandrea Falconer.
