Haiti Politics - Senators and Deputes AGREE to Keep Privert as President
Following a political standoff between pro-Privert Senators and Deputes and the opposition, an agreement has been reached to KEEP Jocelerme Privert as Interim President of Haiti.
Depute Abel Descollines made this announcement to the media while reporting that a national assembly is imminent.
This National assembly has been pending since June 14 when Privert's term expired per the agreement he signed with outgoing president Michel Martelly. Will it finally be held?

Sure, Privert should stay as Interim President of Haiti until the Haitian people elect a President for Haiti before January 1, 2017. Haiti just needs 6 to 12 presidential candidates
for the Do Over election.
