Haiti Police Nationale Taking Drastic Steps to Ensure a Safe Election Day

The Haitian National Police force has taken some drastic measures to ensure a peaceful election day in Haiti this March 20 2011

Here is the list of measures taken by PNH in Haiti:

From Saturday 19 Mar, 8:00pm, until Monday 21 Mar, 8:00am...

- All night clubs in Haiti will be closed

- The sale of alcoholic beverages are prohibited

- Motorcycles are not allowed in the streets

- Inter-Departmental transportation is prohibited

- Even if you have a gun permit, you are NOT allowed to carry concealed weapons

- Transportation is restricted within 150 meters from all polling centers

What is your opinion about these steps taken by the Haitian National Police?

It is good, but you can never be prepared enough to deal with crowds and they must be controlled without casualties.
