Haiti - Is Focus on Aristide a Distraction from Elections Delays?
The Miami Herald has just published two articles, both presenting the focus on Aristide on as a form of distraction from elections that is supposed to take place in Haiti but is seriously dragging... Despite election delays, one article title reads, Aristide remains the focus... Why is that?
Opposition senators are dead locked on their decision on how elections should be held, it's their way or the highway...
In the mean time, Jacqueline Charles of the Miami Herald writes: "the focus appears to be more on the fate of former President Jean-Bertrand Aristide, who is now the subject of an ongoing criminal investigation, rather than elections"
What do you think about that?
