According to a declaration made by Haitian foreign affairs minister Antonio Rodrigue at the chamber of Deputes Thursday, the 2.9 billion gourdes budget allocated to the ministry is almost finished.

More than 90 percent of that money is spent already with about 5 more months to go in the fiscal year.

According to news reports, the ministry of foreign affairs is spending a whopping 4.3 million US dollars to maintain its 49 diplomatic missions around the world. it is in debt by more than one billion gourdes.

There are many Haitian diplomats, employees and contractors overseas making the big bucks!

They must be working HARD for the people!
